Step #3 - Look over the list of "Commonly used words" shown below. Replace them as needed. For example replace all instances of "you" with "u" and "for" with "fo". It is not necessary that you do this with ALL the listed words - but it is a good idea if you remain consistent with which words you change and which you do not change.
Commonly used words:
and = "&" or "na"
be = bi
for = fo
has = don
he = e
her = am
his = am
me = mi
must = mus
my = mai
not = no
she = e
tell = tel
that = dat
this = dis
them = dem
they = dey
there = dere
them = "dem" or "em"
we = wi
when = wen
with = wit
you = u
your = ur
Example:
I will
bi
sending three checks to three of
ur
victims.
Dey
will arrive in two days. In exchange
u
pay
mi
half of the funds
dey
send
u
. The name on
mai
checks will
bi
"New York Supply Company". The amounts can
bi
whatever
u
want - but should
bi
under $20,000 or the banks might interfere
wit mai
ability to write more high quality checks. If
u
do
no
send
mi mai
fair share of the funds after the victims pay - i will never help
u
cheat
victims again!!! The information I need to send the checks are name, address, phone number
na
check amount. Send
mi
an email if
dis
is acceptable
&
to
ur
liking. Send
mai
share
wit
Western Union on the same day
dat
the victims pay!
Step #4 - Look over the list of "Rarely used words" shown below. Remove or replace them as indicated. For example Nigerian scammers often do not use "a" or "the". They tend to write like Tarzan talks... "The cat hid in a box for the whole day." becomes "cat hid in box for whole day." Nigerian scammers also don't use the word "have" which I found difficult to do without. So I just replace it with "hav". Again you don't hav to replace them all - but you should try to be consistent.
Rarely used words:
a = not used or replaced with "di"
an = not used or replaced with "di"
are = Not used much. Often replaced with "bi".
have = hav
is = Not used much. Often replaced with "bi".
the = not used or replaced with "di"
to = (rarely used, often necessary to add to make a sentence make more sense)
was = (don't use)
Example:
I will bi sending three checks to three of ur victims. Dey will arrive in two days. In exchange u pay mi half of
the(removed)
funds dey send u.
The(removed)
name on mai checks will bi "New York Supply Company".
The(removed)
amounts can
bi
whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or
the(removed)
banks might interfere wit mai ability to write more high quality checks. If u do no send mi mai fair share of
the(removed)
funds after
the(removed)
victims pay - i will never help u cheat victims again!!!
The(removed)
information I need to send
the(removed)
checks
bi
name, address, phone number na check amount. Send mi
an(removed)
email if dis
bi
acceptable & to ur liking. Send mai share wit Western Union on
the(removed)
same day dat
the(removed)
victims pay!
Step #5 - Look over the list of "Other words" show below. Replace them as indicated.
Other words:
after = afta
answer = answa
arrive = lands
before = bifor
because = cos
brother = bro or brotha
forget = fashie
how = hau
information = informations
know = sabi
money = moni
next = nex
Nigeria (or Nigerian) = naija
now = nau
please = abeg, plz or pleaze
things = tings
trouble = wahala
Example:
I will bi sending three checks to three of ur victims. Dey will
land
in two days. In exchange u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai checks will bi "New York Supply Company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might interfere wit mai ability to write more high quality checks. If u do no send mi mai fair share of funds after victims pay - i will never help u cheat victims again!!!
informations
I need to send checks bi name, address, phone number na check amount. Send mi email if dis bi acceptable & to ur liking. Send mai share wit Western Union on same day dat victims pay!
Step #6 - Look over the list of "scammer terms" below. Replace as indicated. Many of these are euphemisms. For example scammers like to call their victims "clients" and their scams "jobs". The word "bust" is used to indicate the end or destruction of something. For example - "The bank bust my account." or "Police bust my job!".
Scammer terms:
baiter = joker or jokeman
check = cheque
destroy = bust
end = bust
fool = mugu (big fool)
scam = job
scammer = guy or guyman
share = cut
stop = bust
victim = client or maga
Example:
I will bi sending three
cheques
to three of ur
clients
. Dey will land in two days. In exchange u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai
cheques
will bi "New York Supply Company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might
bust
mai ability to write more high quality
cheques
. If u do no send mi mai fair
cut
of funds after
clients
pay - i will never help u cheat
clients
again!!! informations I need to send
cheques
bi name, address, phone number na
cheque
amount. Send mi email if dis bi acceptable & to ur liking. Send mai
cut
wit Western Union on same day dat
clients
pay!
Step #7 - Scammers are not usually bright people. So try to keep the wording simple and low-brow. Use "get" rather then "acquire". Use "changes" instead of "alterations". Use "smart" instead of "intelligent".
Example:
I will bi sending three cheques to three of ur clients. Dey will land in two days. In
trade
u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi "New York Supply Company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might bust mai ability to write more
good
cheques. If u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u cheat clients again!!! informations I need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. Send mi email if dis bi
ok
& to ur liking. Send mai cut wit Western Union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #8 - Scammers rarely describe their nefarious activities in straight-forward terms such as "theft" or "crime". They like to use euphemisms. For example - instead of "After the scam I will give you your share of the stolen money." they will say something like "After the job I will give you your cut of the funds".
Example:
I will bi sending three cheques to three of ur clients. Dey will land in two days. In trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi "New York Supply Company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. If u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u
work
clients again!!! informations I need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. Send mi email if dis bi ok & to ur liking. Send mai cut wit Western Union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #9 - Make sure to avoid regional vocabulary, turns of phrases and pithy colloquialisms that might tip off the scammer that you are not really Nigerian. For example try to avoid saying things like: "Will that be to your liking?", "I'm all tuckered out!" or "Howdy ya'll!"
If u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u work clients again!!! informations I need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. Send mi email if dis bi ok
& to ur liking(removed)
. Send mai cut wit Western Union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #10 - Change all upper-case letters to lower-case. (It is true that some scammers write in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, but most do not. Also all caps can be hard to read.)
Example:
i
will bi sending three cheques to three of ur clients.
dey
will land in two days.
in
trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi "
new york supply company
". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques.
if
u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u work clients again!!! informations
i
need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount.
send
mi email if dis bi ok.
send
mai cut wit
western union
on same day dat clients pay!
Step #11 - Look for words that end in "ing". Drop the "g" on some of them. ("holding" becomes "holdin".)
Example:
i will bi
sendin
three cheques to three of ur clients. dey will land in two days. in trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi "new york supply company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20,000 or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u work clients again!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #12 - If you have any numbers written as words (Such as "one", "two", "three", etc...) change them to regular numbers (Such as "1", "2", "3", etc...). And scammers usually do not use commas to clarify large numbers to each other. So "$1,500,000" should be changed to "$1500000". In ladspeak the letter k = 1,000. So $20,000 can be written as $20K, $20k or 20k.
Example:
i will bi sendin
3
cheques to
3
of ur clients. dey will land in
2
days. in trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi "new york supply company". amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under
$20k
or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u work clients again!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #13 - If you have used "quotes" - you should remove them. Instead of using quotes to emphasize a word - write the word in all CAPITAL letters or make it bold.
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 days. in trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi
NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY
. amounts can bi whatever u want - but should bi under $20k or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay - i will never help u work clients again!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name, address, phone number na cheque amount. send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #14 - Scammers usually do not use commas(,), semi-colons(;), dashes(-), apostrophes (') and other "advanced" punctuation. When they do use them, they are often placed incorrectly. Your own punctuation should be altered accordingly. For example: "Paul's cats, dogs and pet mice don't fight; they're all well trained." becomes "Pauls cats and dogs and pet mice dont fight. Theyre all well trained."
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 days. in trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. amounts can bi whatever u want
-(removed)
but should bi under $20k or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay
-(removed)
i will never help u work clients again!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name
....
address
....
phone number
....
na cheque amount. send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #15 - (Optional) Randomly move about every 5th or 6th punctuation mark to the right one space .like this .ok ?
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2
days .in
trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. amounts can bi whatever u want but should bi under $20k or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name... address... phone number... na cheque
amount .send
mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!
Step #16 - (Optional) If there is a place were you want to indicate "great excitement". Put four or more "o"s at the end of the sentence followed by four or more "!"s. LIKE THIS oooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! As a general rule you should only do this every once in a while and never twice in the same email. Nigerian email scammers are also prone to hyperbole. So be generous with exclamation points and questions marks. If a normal person would end a sentance with one "!", they might end it with three!!! If a normal person would end a sentace with three question marks, a scammer might end it with nine?????????
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 days .in trade u pay mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. amounts can bi whatever u want but should bi under $20k or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no send mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again
ooooooo!!!!!!!
informations i need to send cheques bi name.... address.... phone number.... na cheque amount .send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay
!!!
Step #17 - For some reason, many scammers have a lot of trouble knowing when a word should be pluralized or not. So you should occasionally pluralize a few words unnecessarily. Such as... "I demands thats you confirms our plans." You might want to make one or two pluralized words singular. Such as... "I am 39 year old."
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2
day
.in trade u
pays
mi half of funds dey send u. name on mi cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. amounts can bi whatever u
wants
but should bi under $20k or banks might bust mai ability to write more good cheques. if u do no
sends
mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again ooooooo!!!!!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name.... address.... phone number.... na cheque amount .send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!!!
Step #18 - Deliberately misspell some of the larger words. A good rule of thumb is that you should misspell about every 5th word that is larger then four letters long. It also helps if you keep your misspellings consistent. Scammers frequently mix up homophones... For example: "I know where you're at." can become "I no wear your at."
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 day .in trade u pays mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY.
ammounts
can bi
what ever
u wants but should bi under $20000 or banks might bust mai
abilitty
to write more good cheques. if u do no sends mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again ooooooo!!!!!!! informations i need to send cheques bi name....
adress
.... phone number.... na cheque amount .send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!!!
Step #19 - (Optional) Often scammers will have a few missing spaces. For example: "often scammers willhave a few missingspaces".
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 day .in trade u pays mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. ammounts can bi what ever u wants but should bi under
$20kor
banks might bust mai abilitty to write more good cheques. if u do no sends mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again ooooooo!!!!!!! informations i need
tosend
cheques bi name.... adress.... phone number.... na cheque amount .send mi email if dis bi ok. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!!!
Step #20 - (Optional) Some scammers like to add ",bro", ",brotha" or ",ok?" to the end of sentences. Sometimes ",ok?" is used as a retorical question ment to ask if the reader understands the sentence... "pleaze keep eye out fo troublesome problems, ok?" Sometimes they use it as a reminder... "i needs u to keep mi informed, ok?" And scammers will sometimes use "ok" at the end of a sentence for no reason at all, ok?
Example:
i will bi sendin 3 cheques to 3 of ur clients. dey will land in 2 day .in trade u pays mi half of funds dey send u. name on mai cheques will bi NEW YORK SUPPLY COMPANY. ammounts can bi what ever u wants but should bi under $20kor banks might bust mai abilitty to write more good cheques
,ok?
if u do no sends mi mai fair cut of funds after clients pay i will never help u work clients again ooooooo!!!!!!! informations i need tosend cheques bi name.... adress.... phone number.... na cheque amount .send mi email if dis bi ok
,brotha
. send mai cut wit western union on same day dat clients pay!!!
Now you are done. Check your email for any (unintentional) mistakes before sending it. And make sure that the text is reasonably readable despite your alterations. After all - the scammer will not fall for your bait if he can't understand what you have written.
Here is a simple way you can start a rapport with a scammer... First get the email addresses of hundreds of scammers from here:
http://www.419baiter.com/_scam_emails/scammer-email-addresses.html
Then write to them as if you are responding to a scam spam they have sent you. For example you can email them something like this...
"
HAHAHAHAHHA..... i dont think i bi very good maga fo u,brotha! LOL! u hav good format. i ran simular jobs long ago befor i come to USA. now i do only cheque jobs. magas allways trust cheques more if they come from USA bank. i wish u good lucks wit ur format. bye, my brotha."
Happy hunting! :)
