"Teresa L" (From Findlay, OH) was one of the people that the scammer "Mikel Bolton" wanted me to send a fake check to. I called her and warned her about the scam. She would have fallen for the romance scam and was very grateful for the warning. She agreed to let me take over her identity by telling the scammer that she had changed her email to one I own. Also she has agreed not pick up the phone when the scammer calls from now on.

Here are some notes that I wrote down about the scammer and his fake relationship with Teresa...
Sammer's email and chat ID is "leonrichie16(at)yahoo.co.uk"
Scammer said he has plans to marry Teresa and is now her fiance.
The scammer is using the name "Leon Richie".
He is a 51yr old white man from India with a indian/british accent.
He has sent photos to Terese in the past, but she has since deleted them.
"Leon" claims to be in Africa now.
He says he plans to come to visit Teresa in the first week of May.
He asked her to rent an SUV and get a hotel room ready prier to his arrival. (Asshole)
He has a profile on "true.com" something like "faithfulday020".
He claims to have an aquaitance in St. Louis named "Richard Harry"?
Teresa was in the hosbitle a couple days before april21st.
She has already told the scammer that her bank needs 10 days to clear checks.
Part of the money, from the check, is to pay for the wedding.
Teresa has a sister who is suspitious of leon.

I dont seem to understand all that is going on,i wrote you series of mails and you refused to write back,are you trying to get away with my money,are you aware that this payment that was made to you is a loan facility,why are you trying to put me in a jeopardy,knowing that 5% charges have to be paid for this payment,why are you trying to make all that i have sweat for a waste,you came giving me irrelevant excusses that your computer was attacked by virus.Well i have taking some legal actions,i have decided to seek the consent of a solicitor and legal charges would be made against you if i still dont get any mail from you.What i meant about the ring is the inscription,knowing that the ring has to be customized,i wanted an iscription which you would like to be marked on the ring,could be your name or so on.About my travelling,what i sent you was the schedule,there you can see all about the my flight scedule,pls take time to read that,there i have the company name(British Airways),you can check that on google okay,would i use any other name in booking my flight.Now as for the pictures,i can get any till i get to london okay,only then would i be chanced to take pictures and get them scanned of my computer.i am so busy over here okay.
All i need now is just an explanation to all that is going on..I called you and i was told that your number has either been changed,disconected or is no more available on the service provider.

leon.the financier's name is morris patersonn . he contacted me on gmail chat and asked for an update about the check. i told him what you said about calling off the wedding . he said that it was a misunderstanding and that you still want to marry me. is that true??? he said you and he are good friends.is that true too? i told him about the travel plans.he said he would help u get correct travel plans from the travel company. has he done that yet?
i told morris the cheque should be cleared on May 3rd or 4th.
