We really need those documents, and if you look down the deposit document very well you will see that they said incase of death the next of kin need to present a latter of administration.
So according to what they told me from the court that the cost of the document is $750, so now I don't know what to do, because I have already told you that you are not going to spend any money on this transaction, so I don't know how I will ask you to help me to pay this $750.
I am very sorry if this will hurt your feelings over this transaction, because I think they will be no money expenditure on this transaction.

I've talked it over with my wife. We have decided that it is unwise for me to travel to another country again. If Phillip Anderson needs us to pay $38,800 in demurrage charges - then he can be the one to fly here to the USA to collect it. In fact - if you want to be the one to collect the money, you can. But after what happened in Ghana - I don't think I can trust you or the security company to do it right.
In short - I will pay the $38,800 - but ONLY if you or the security company comes to Lambert airport and picks it up. Once the security company has the demurrage charges - they can ship the consignment from Madrid to the USA. I've already done the traveling once - it is now someone else's turn.
Have the security company make plans to come to the St. Louis, MO Lambert-St Louis International Airport. (Any time after Tuesday, but not Friday the 29th) I will then pay them the demurrage charges.
If the security company can't come - then YOU must come.
I won't travel again and I won't send money to someone I have not yet met.

Plot: The son of a dead wealthy cocoa merchant needed my help retrieving a locked box containing $18.7 million from a security company.
Commentary: I'm particularly proud of this bait. It is an example of a "safari bait" - a bait where the scammer was tricked into traveling hundreds of miles for a meeting that never occurs. I was also able to use a public web-cam to record the scammer's attempt to meet with me. I called the local police in Canada, hoping they would at least meet with the scammer and let him know he is not welcome in their city, but the police did not care enough to even show up.
